Dear Friends,
Thank you for considering the opportunity to serve as a counsellor at one of the six FSY sessions being held across the UK and Ireland in 2025.
As Elder Uchtdorf recently taught " Jesus is the strength of Youth " Our hope is that being on session will help to strengthen faith in Jesus Christ and His restored gospel, feel an increased sense of belonging, and be empowered to continue having spiritual experiences at home.
Holding 6 annual sessions is an exciting and ambitious undertaking, and something we have been invited to do by the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. We welcome their vision and their blessing.
This year, for the first time, Scotland and Ireland will have their own session, alongside Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, London and Manchester. Just think about all the Youth and Young Adults who will have the opportunity to strengthen their own connection with the Saviour, as well as with one another!

Your influence on all who participate is what makes FSY so unique. As we work together to continually improve the experience, we are grateful for your faith-filled insights and suggestions. We believe that FSY was made for the Rising Generation and not the Rising Generation for FSY. Because of everybody’s hard work to date, we now have the momentum across the UK and Ireland to enter a new chapter and make changes to the running of the week, adapt the daily itineraries and change the format of some of the activities. We are excited to see some of your ideas come to life next summer.
Whether this is your first time applying, or whether you have done multiple sessions across a number of years, we hope you know how much we value you. We want you to come and influence this space!
To help create transformational, faith-filled experiences for all involved across all 6 sessions, you will notice that we have made some changes to the registration process. Please take note of them, as you apply:
Please select 2x FSY session preferences and add any additional comments if needed. This will help us prioritise your preferred choices, as well as help us ensure that all sessions are well-staffed.
The application portal will ask you to indicate if you are happy to serve at any session as needed. Please check this box if you would like our help to call you to a session that needs you the most.
You will also see an option to state whether you would like to serve on more than one session during the summer. We know that this is a popular choice for many. Please note this is not a general requirement!
We are excited for next year’s summer sessions. We hope that you will feel uplifted by the decision to invest in your faith in Jesus Christ, and the opportunity to serve one another - and especially our youth and their families.
